The firm's considerable experience in transit planning includes the preparation of Preliminary Planning Studies (PPS) and Major Investment Studies (MIS) for multi-modal transit corridors; transit mode evaluation (bus, HOV, light rail, subway, commuter rail, people movers, monorail, and automated guideway transit (AGT); alignment studies, station siting, patronage forecasting, alternatives analysis, cost estimates, traffic operations for at-grade rail operations and grade separation needs.

We have participated in the planning and design of numerous rail, bus, and multi-modal transit stations, addressing passenger flow analysis, bus and auto access/circulation, parking needs and layouts, patronage projections, mode of access/egress forecasts, and site alternatives analysis.
