FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY The Mobility Group Transportation Planner The Mobility Group, a successful and growing Los Angeles area transportation consulting firm, requires a BS/MS graduate in urban planning or civil engineering related field, for an entry-level transportation planner position in our Orange County office. The Mobility Group specializes in developing innovative transportation strategies & solutions for private and public sector clients. We are currently working on major landmark projects in Southern California and the Western U.S. This position, in our Irvine office, offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of traffic, transportation, transit and parking projects, including planning/policy studies; General Plan, Specific Plan, and Corridor studies; traffic impact analyses, traffic/parking plans, and site plans for major land development projects; transit centers; traffic calming and neighborhood traffic plans; and transportation strategy and alternatives analyses. Responsibilities will include: transportation planning analysis, travel & traffic modelling, traffic operations and engineering evaluations, research, policy and alternatives analysis, development of solutions and mitigation strategies, field survey supervision, and report preparation.
