FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY The Mobility Group Transportation Engineer Works on traffic, transportation, transit and parking projects, including traffic impact analyses, traffic operations and traffic circulation plans, parking plans, site plans for major land development projects, corridor studies; and traffic planning and transportation engineering for General Plans and Specific Plans. Responsibilities include: technical analyses for traffic and roadway planning, operations and engineering evaluations; traffic modeling and forecasting; analysis of alternatives; analysis of mitigation strategies and roadway improvements; intersection layout evaluations; parking analyses; field survey work; preparation of technical memoranda, summaries, and report sections or drafts; and some client contact and coordination. Conducts technical analyses. Works on discreet assigned tasks, per directions given, and with direct supervision. Conducts accuracy checks on work products. Position requires Master's in civil, or transportation engineering or transportation planning, and six months experience. TRAFFIX and Synchro traffic software also required.
